Honestly if it the difference between canceling the whole show, then I accept that fight. Jones just cost a whole card of fighters and their teams their pay along with staff in different agencies (Zuffa, Mandelay Bay, concessions etc.,.

What was the history?

First time they cancelled a booked show and first time a champ has turned down a replacement.

Honestly, I dunno which one is worse. I really don't. I think Stephan Bonnar is more deserving then Chael, fucking ridiculous that Chael's name was even mentioned today.
