Machida. He is as good as any at the moment for the shot, and looking at the poll results so far, much better than having to wait 8 months for the winner of Shogun vs Gus, who really are the only other logical alternatives listed in the poll imo.

Jones already beat Shogun up, and Brandon Vera didnt make Shogun look like a contender.

Forrests time as a contender is long and gone.

Shad lost to Bones already as well. Plus I think he will be at 185 shortly.

I don't think it will either because I don't think Cain will beat JDS. But IF that were to happen. Then Cormier vs LHW Champion is a very good possibility.

Yeah but I don't think Dana is going to jump Glover or Gus over Machida because they are still building their names. Besides those 2 there really isn't anyone else that will be given much consideration. I just don't see Machida getting knocked off his spot.
