6 week no contact and a 6 week training camp. Doesn't seem out of the ordinary. Plus I'm sure the UFC wanted to put penn and their new young star on FOX.

I don't even see UFC on FOX 5 scheduled yet? When is it suppose to take place? Could it be possible they ment FX 5? BS if this thing isn't before November.

I read today they are targeting it as a "co-main event", so there is still hope. I also heard that this will take place on a Saturday that doesn't have college football so you will be able to advertise on NFL games and you don't have college football to go against. This could be potentially be the 2nd biggest FOX card for # of viewers.

They need to go big. At a minimum the last fox show should of been headlined by hendo vs Edgar or shogun vs machida, minimum.

Now a larger audience will gaze upon BJ's defeat which will retire him.

I agree, they need to go big here. I think they will. They have been trying to get 5 fights on FOX but injuries have been fucking that up. But being at the end of the year and having the best advertising available with the NFL games they have no excuse not to go big here. Honestly, it goes against my wishes but since he is fighting someone in December anyways, JDS vs Reem on FOX would be huge.

Yes it would. That is the approach they need. It's becoming a squandered opportunity.

Cigano vs. Ubereem or Cain II headlining the card would be sick but I can't see Zuffa passing on the PPV sales.

Yeah but I forgot about NSAC putting to rest the Reem in Dec comeback. Too bad though since so many people saw Lesnar vs Reem and so many people saw Cain vs JDS and just the look of Reem makes casuals curious. I guess Cain vs JDS rematch could work? People still like the sound of "HW Championship".

I definitely wouldn't rule our reem yet.

NSAC didn't sound like there was much wiggle room. Why do you feel there is still hope? I'm honestly warming up to the idea, since I'm supremely confident in the result of the fight.

Because kiser is only the director, chief of staff to the commissioners who are responsible for making decisions. As staff he can make recommendations, but the commissioners don't have to follow those recommendations when they take action on an item.

there is an ok a chance. when reemsays getting a license early for good behavior, that will not happen. what is realistic is overeems camp and legal team working in close collaboration with the nevada state athletic commission priority to decemberser's commission meeting having all necessary activity required to be licensed, testing, paperwork, to be completed before that meeting so when in december rolls around it set up and there is no surprise. this would require a lot of accountability on overeems side though, that is the tradeoff, how much trust to give. it would be a streamline the process for product delivery . the commissioners will have a broader economic perspective as well.

When is his suspension suppose to be up? Wasn't it February?
