All fighters competing at Friday's Bellator 72 event today successfully made weight.

The official fighter weigh-ins took place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla.

In addition to the night's many tournament fighters, Bellator newcomer and co-headliner Paul Daley easily made weight and tipped the scale at 170.25 pounds for his welterweight bout with Rudy Bears, who weighed 169.5 pounds.

The Sun Dome also hosts Friday's event, which includes a main card on MTV2 and prelims on Spike.com. The card also can be watched on MMAjunkie.com.

Daley, who's had weight issues in the past, easily made the 171-pound limit and made a promise afterward.

"I'm going to knock this mother [expletive] out," he said.

Headliners and welterweight-tournament finalists Karl Amoussou (170.25) and Bryan Baker (169.5) also made weight without issue.

Dudes on the poster make for a not so interesting card. But then I saw Daley, and the Spiritwolf vs Z fight. Those are 2 interesting fights for sure.

I saw on mania that UFC Uncensored on SPIKE will now be available to dish.

Yeah this isn't a blockbuster, at least by Bellator's standards, but this fight has a lot good matchups I'm looking forward to.

Yeah but I assumed it was moved to a catch after one of them was unable to make weight. His opponent came in like 174. So did someone know a day or 2 in advance they couldn't cut the weight?

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — DirecTV and Viacom Inc. say they have settled a dispute that will bring shows such as those featuring the cartoon character Sponge Bob and the comedian Jon Stewart back to DirecTV subscribers.

Seventeen Viacom channels — including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon — had not been accessible to some 20 million DirecTV customers since July 10 as the two companies haggled over how much DirecTV should pay to carry those channels.

Terms of the deal announced Friday were not disclosed.

On Tuesday Viacom decided to let new episodes of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" be shown on its websites, easing a blockade of online viewings that it imposed last week.

DirecTV subscribers will also be able to see Viacom shows on tablets, laptops and other devices using DirecTV's Everywhere platform.

DirecTV says in its news release that Viacom "has returned all affected networks;" Viacom said at 6 am ET that the channels "will return to DIRECTV's channel lineup immediately." Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Channels such as MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon had been inaccessible to some 20 million DirecTV customers since July 10 as the two companies haggled over how much DirecTV should pay to carry those channels.

A day later Viacom also shut off access to full-length episodes on its own websites such as MTV.com and ComedyCentral.com to all visitors, even those who had no stake in the dispute. That was apparently in response to DirecTV telling its U.S. subscribers where they could find programs on the Internet that they could no longer watch on TV.

With viewers frustrated by the lack of accessibility, Viacom decided Tuesday to let new episodes of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" be shown on its websites, easing the blockade of online viewings that it imposed last week. The move came a day after both shows resumed new episodes following a two-week hiatus.

As part of the new long-term deal, DirecTV subscribers will also be able to see Viacom shows on tablets, laptops and other devices using DirecTV's Everywhere platform.

While the two companies have struck a deal, DirecTV made it clear that it was not happy with what transpired.

"The attention surrounding this unnecessary and ill-advised blackout by Viacom has accomplished one key thing: It serves notice to all media companies that bullying TV providers and their customers with blackouts won't get them a better deal," Derek Chang, executive vice president of content strategy and development for DirecTV, said in a statement.

DirecTV said while the dispute with Viacom was going on it received support not only from customers, but from competitors as well. The satellite television provider said 850 small and independently owned local cable systems that make up the American Cable Association were opposed to Viacom's actions, as were Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable and Mediacom.

Viacom said in a statement that it was extremely pleased to be bringing its shows back to DirecTV customers and thanked everyone affected by the dispute "for their patience and understanding during this challenging period."

DirecTV has 33 million customers in the U.S. and Latin America, with about 20 million of those in the U.S.

Wiuff is huge at 205, i don't think he'll be able to keep making that weight.

The prelims were all stoppages, weren't bad.

THis LHW division in Bellator looks a step behind where King Mo was when he was fighting.

Losing Lins and Hale sent this tourny down the crapper. Highly touted brazilian prospect and impressive fighter like Hale. Vegh came in with some hype but 2 of his 3 fights have been underwheling. I did have him winning this fight though.

I think Wiuff has been pretty good at LHW though.

new promotion for Daley means he has to tell us what "Semtex" is again.
