| “Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane,” Limbaugh told his radio audience. “The villain in the Dark Knight Rises is named Bane. B-A-N-E. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran, and around which there's now this make-believe controversy? Bain. “The movie has been in the works for a a long time, the release date's been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental, that the name of the really vicious, fire-breathing, four-eyed whatever-it-is villain in this movie is named Bain.” It is actually entirely coincidental. The character was created in 1993 for DC Comics - long before Romney emerged as a political heavyweight on the national scene. “This evil villain in the new Batman movie is named Bane,” Limbaugh continued. “And there's now discussion out there as to whether or not this was purposeful, and whether or not it will influence voters. “It's going to have a lot of people. This movie, the audience is going to be huge, lot of people are going to see the movie. And it's a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop-culture crowd. And they're going to hear Bane in the movie, and they are going to associate Bain, and the thought is that when they start paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama, the Democrats keep talking about Bain, not Bain Capital, but Bain, Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie -- "Oh yeah, I know who that is" That's -- there are some people who think it will work.” Though Christopher Nolan has insisted that “really these films are about entertainment,” critics have called the film’s plot - which involves Bane and his thugs attacking Gotham City’s rich, as a pro-Occupy Wall St. allegory. Even though the script was written months before the movement formed in New York’s Zuccotti Park, even Batman himself, Christian Bale commented on the the coincidental timing, “There’s also something that I’ve found uncanny with Chris’ ability to make the movies very topical,” Bale recently told reporters. “There’s something happening with Occupy Wall Street, which was actually happening a couple of blocks away from where we were filming in New York. Which he had no way of knowing when he wrote the script, but by the time it was happening, I was looking at him going, ‘how did you know?’” Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/rush-limbaugh-takes-batman-dark-knight-rises-features-villain-a-deliberate-ploy-impune-mitt-romney-article-1.1116479#ixzz20wMoI2QoWhat a fool. | |

| Quite the coincidence that they did pick one of the lamer batman villians to close out the trilogy...maybe he is on to something, maybe there is a reason they decided to run with freakin Bane. I would suggest they make a character like Obama who burns mountains of other peoples money, but then i remembered they already used The Joker...so atleast they are fair. | |
