Dwight Howard

Where will he play? Will he sign a long term deal where he lands? Is Brooke Lopez worth max money even though he broke his foot twice last season?

LA. Hou get Bynum. Orlando gets tons of picks and an expiring contract.

Makes me a little unhappy Rox didn't sign Dragic if we land Bynum.

There is one player in the NBA less likeable than LeBron James... and it's easily Dwight Howard. What a fuckin prima donna asswipe.

Brooke Lopez is nowhere near worth a max contract. Possibly the worst rebounding centre in the NBA.

Eventually I think some kind of deal gets done sending him to Nets. But they might have to sweeten the pot for whatever 3rd team gets involved.

Well they will have to wait till midseason for that trade to go down.

I do like Brooke as a player. Real good offensive repetoire. Rebounding is def weak, but I see him as a guy who can improve. Foot is a big concern. Worth a max contract? No but this is the NBA so he has plenty of company.

yeah, as a Net fan(well as a NJ net fan) Im not that into even getting Dwight.

Though it should be noted that both Dwight and Lebron are pretty good guys outside of their manipulations of where they want to play . There are much more unlikeable guys in the league imo.

Not sure how that happens. He doesn't want to sign extension in LA and Bynum doesn't want to sign in Orlando. So that seems difficult. Also the rumors are that during the last trade deadline Howard and Kobe had a talk that didn't go too well. This is a fun thought, but reality is you need to get to both Bynum and Dwight and convince them to sign long term or the deal can't happen.

Who is Dwight fucking in Cleveland? First they come in and almost get the deal done for Nets now they are trying to come in and get it done for LA?

If LA gets Dwight they better just send next years rings right along with him, cause nobody will stop us!

I still say Houston. Morey is willing to offer more than LA or Cleveland because they have picks and cap space to take bad contracts. LA's biggest selling point is Bynum which is a poor man's Howard with more injuries. I'm not sure what Cleveland's big selling point is.

Cle would receive Bynum while Orl would get verejao and better picks than Hou has to offer

So Orlando would get nothing for Howard...they would be better off just letting his contract expire and watch him be choosy on the free agent market where only a few teams have any money.

Varajeo sucks

and safe to say Cleveland would be a playoff team in the LEast with Bynum so those picks arent proper compesation for Howard.

Mid round and late first round picks are crap if you're giving up a star. Hell, in the NBA you are lucky to get anything of value at all after the top 5.

I'd rather not give Howard the satisfaction than have to eat a shit deal where you give up the best player in the deal while not even getting the second best player in the deal.

I disagree with Varajeo, but no way am i saying he's Howard caliber either.

at the end of the day, ORL is getting screwed any way you look at it, so im sure they'll take whatever they can get.

I'll just take even more joy in OKC winning. Now we actually have a need for Perk, who has been great vs Dwight. Westbrook is still going to rape Nash, still the biggest mismatch on the court.
