Who's the greatest ever sportsman?

Rowing is an incredibly physically demanding sport, you need to be in peak condition to compete in it.

You would have to include Lance Armstrong then. But what about these freaks with the speed, strength and skill combination? Wouldn't that be a more impressive athlete? I can't blame you guys, you don't get to see the top level athletes live in action. They are all over here playing the real sports.

Extremely. I thought it was understood that all the best athletes in the world compete here in America? The best from around the world play in our leagues. The sports with the best athletes are played here. Isn't that internationally known?

looking at your age ou, i've been watching the NFL longer than you have. for arguments sake how do you rate bo jackson above barry sanders? sanders was by some distance the most amazing NFL player i've ever seen, including jackson.

There is no way that you can't understand that our sports feature a much higher level athlete then yours. You can pretend you are in denial. But I know that you are aware we have the better athletes. Bo Jackson was an All Star in 2 professional sports and won the Heisman Trophy in college. Barry was a better RB then Bo, Bo was a better athlete.

i've never seen anyone change direction at full speed like barry sanders and neither have you. sanders was an outrageous athletic talent, once in a lifetime, and he did it every week for 10 years. longevity and consistency to go along with freakish athleticism.

You are going to consider a woman to be in the discussion? When she could probably be outperformed by amateur male athletes? Science tells you a woman can't be the best athlete in the world. The difficulty of the sport played has to be a factor. The athletic ability to play that sport needs to be considered. Which is why the superior American sports have the best athletes. Barry Sanders was amazing but Adrian Peterson is a better athlete. Jerry Rice has more claim to the title then Barry.

It's not my fault that my country is so far superior to yours when it comes to athletic ability. Also not my fault that all the best athletes born outside of the US eventually move to the US to compete in our superior athletic leagues.
