Freak describe "sportsmen" as someone who plays sports. So how would you describe an athelete? Dieon and Bo both had productive careers in both Major League Baseball and National Football League.

deion was a stellar corner but far from a stellar baseball player and jacksons achievements didn't measure up to his athleticism imo and he wasn't elite in either sport.

sir steve redgrave won gold medals in rowing at five consecutive olympics, who can match that in a proper sport requiring extreme physical endurance? but he isn't american. the fact that people like bo jackson are on this list ahead of people like that is actually a joke in the context of the thread title.

LOL calling me ignorant? They both had long careers playing at the top level in very top league in there sports. They are bigger, stronger, faster and have 10000x more athletic ability then anyone that has every played in those inferior leagues you are referring too. Ignorant Euros don't know what a real athlete is.
