Headlining the card is a title fight between featherweight champion Pat Curran (17-4 MMA, 7-1 BFC) and season-four tournament winner Patricio "Pitbull" Freire (17-1 MMA, 5-1 BFC). Bellator 73's main card airs on MTV2 (and in high-definition on EPIX), and Spike.com carries the prelims. As MMAjunkie.com ( www.mmajunkie.com) first reported, a highly anticipated bantamweight bout between Marcos Galvao (12-5-1 MMA, 3-2 BFC) and Luis Nogueira (14-2 MMA, 4-1 BFC) also is slated for the show. It concludes the promotion's season-six bantamweight tournament, and the winner earns a shot at current champion Eduardo Dantas. | |
