The tenth event of the season, Bellator 69 drew an average of 209,000 viewers, topping Bellator 64 and Bellator 62, which each pulled in 175,000 viewers.
Bellator 69 featured Maiquel Falcao winning the Season 6 Middleweight Tournament to set up a showdown with Alexander Shlemenko for the middleweight title vacated by Hector Lombard’s exodus to the UFC.
The card also featured two of the top female fighters in the world, as Jessica Aguilar proved her worth by toppling the former No. 1 woman, Megumi Fujii.
The 209,000 viewers on MTV2 is a strong number for Bellator after averaging just 158,200 viewers per show this season, which closes out with Friday’s Bellator 70 in New Orleans.
