Farmer that is outstanding match making! A+ thinking. You sure you are not Joe Silva in disguise?

I'd like to see Cowboy at Welterweight, I feel he's got too much of a size advantage at Lightweight.

Mendes just fought Aldo for the Championship in Brazil, so I think the Zombie fighitng him makes perfect sense. As for Cowboy at WW? Hedoesn't have very powerful hands and would be at best a .500 fighter IMO.

Putting one of the most popular, exciting fighters in the division who is right on the precipice of a title shot in a fight with a boring LnP artist who just got destroyed by the champ in his last fight in an effort that will have people never wanting to see a rematch again? No thanks

I just feel like he's got an unfair advantage against most opponents in the division, aside from Nate he's looked huge against his opponents.

I don't think its difficult for him at all to make 155. He even talked about dropping to 145 to fight Cole Miller not that long ago

That may be true but Donald has a huge frame for the division.

Maybe I am overreacting but it felt like Stephens was in with a guy a division above him.

Definitely overreacting. Just because Cerrone is 6' tall does not mean he needs to be fighting at LW. I would be willing to bet Cerrones natural weight is 170-185. What does that say for guys like Bendo that probably weigh 190. Maynard who probably weighs 190. Hell Kenny Florians Ben Stiller looking ass started out at 185, and now he tries to fight at 145. Cerrone is where he needs to be. He would have the same luck as Nate Diaz at WW.

Mendes is still the 2nd best FW IMO. If Zombie gets past him then he deserves a title shot. I'd expect Koch to get killed. Hioki to beat Lamas get a title shot. That doesn't leave many other top guys for Zombie to prove himself against and I don't think Mendes has anyone lined up yet. A match v Siver would also work. Didn't think of him before.

Zombie vs. Mendes makes sense, I was actually thinking about the fight right after he won.

I don't see how people think that's a good fight to make

Dana said Zombie could have Aldo-Koch winner anyway

I agree with you Bobbit...It doesn't make any sense at all...145 already has barely any contenders as it is.... Matching an exciting contender like TKZ vs Mendes who could easily wrestle makes him makes zero sense....just like wanting Cowboy to up a division because he is too big... confused Does Jones need to move up to super heavy weight?

Hioki declined facing Aldo, he wanted another fight first. Because of that he likely loses his place in line especially since he hasn't won his next fight yet.

The UFC doesn't have to name who gets the next shot now. Hioki will fight and possibly win well before the Aldo-Koch fight.
