| Should be good since a guy like Tito can let loose a bit on Rome's radio show... | |

| Talked quickly on upcoming fight... Talked his last fight with Forrest (Made some excuses)... Talked his back surgery (Damn he's long winded)... Talked current relationship with Dana (Says he won the battle of wills - And he's longer winded, never heard Rome get this little input during an interview)... Talked the hater fans (I'm amazed at how he can turn a simple Q&A question that requires a quick response into an essay - Impressive)... Talked Big Bear and buying the training camp from De LaHoya...
A bit disappointing. I'm sure that Rome had more questions, but Tito's long winded responses kept the interview tight. Rome gave him opportunities to go off on Dana, Forrest and hater fans and he kept it in check. He was respectful, appreciative for the venue to talk his book and fight, but I really expected a bit of the old Tito to come out. Mixed feelings, how can I hate on him for not acting like the old Tito?

| I was able to catch some of it on my way to campus. It was OK. Just more of the "i had this injury and that injury but i made it through" crap. | |

| LOL@ people not realizing how serious that type of back injury is, and thus making fun of Tito when he talks about it.
The same injury ended Josh Burkman's career. My wife has a very very similar injury, caused by a car accident. And hers still isn't as bad as what I understand of Tito's. She has seen every type of physical therapy short of surgery and had to be recommended to a pain specialist. She isn't a fighter. She is a mom and housewife. I can only imagine how bad Tito's must have been. These injuries often consume your life.
But naw, Tito should just be a warrior, all fighters have injuries, a little back ache is nothing to whine about, it's part of the game, shut up and stop whining right? To channel my inner Ocho; child, please.
Without having an injury or having a family member with one, it's hard to relate or understand how much of a fixture these can be in your day to day life.

| Wolf, I wasn't ripping on his back injury, so I "know" you aren't referring to me. I did however jab at him a bit about his excuses of his knee during the last Forrest fight. To me, if you aren't fit to fight, don't fight. Big difference between pain and injury and if you're injured you shouldn't be risking permanent damage. Unless I missed something, he's never really talked about the knee before and I'm pretty sure he hasn't had it worked on...
He's lived with the back injury since the Couture fight... He could have had it taken care of then and probably have been a better fighter since. Just a dumb decision not to do it on his part, which he admits. These guys get to see doctors and know what's going on with their bodies... It's their choice to take care of it or not. Unless of course, Dana is standing there with a Glock telling them to suck it up and fight... If that's the case, I digress. Oh, and I do speak from personal experience on spinal injuries... It's why I haven't been able to train since March and never will again...

| Then no one would ever fight. Wait, no one ever does anymore...
Thanks injuries. Now that MMA is a real sport with real training injuries are worse here than in the fucking NFL.
Cept this last weekend, Jesus.
PS, none of my fantasy players went down!
