| The run of Paul's Boutique, Check your Head, and I'll Communications is right up there with anyones imo. At that time, they were far and away my favorite group. Saw them at Lallapalloza, rainy day, crowd was kinda eh, tribe called quest was upset cause the crowd was eh, then Beasties came on and blew the fucking place up. I've never seen anything like it.
I usually don't feel much emotion when a celeb dies, but I do here. These guys were a big part of my life for awhiles.
RIP. | |

RIP. Good that you got to see them. A long time ago i had tickets for the Rhyme and Reason tour with Beastie Boys and Rage Against The Machine and i think it was Mike D who rode his bike into a ditch in NYC and got seriously hurt having to cancel the tour. RATM broke up shortly after as well(i saw them a few years ago though). It was a drag because Beastie Boys never came back my way and i never got to see them. All the concert footage i've seen on TV looks amazing though.

All the concert footage i've seen on TV looks amazing though. I saw the beasties 3 times. Once with rage and bad religion, the benefit for the cop killer (who fucking knows on that one) that was OK. Once at MSG, that was OK. but lallapalloza, randalls island, was freaking crazy. Saw rage another time at the roselands in nyc, medium sized venue. That was a dope show too.
