Never played a Sims game. I have seen it played, I have clicked around for 5 min or so on someone elses game. Just never got into Sims.

Yes but very different. The Sims is planning a person or animal. Sim City is full on Land Use Planning. Where roads go, residential/commercial/industrial zones, public space, utilities, resource management, multi-modal transportation systems and goods movement, growing from a hamlet to a town to a city to a megalopolis and watching as it all comes crashing down from the consequences of such growth, or mothra.

Yeah I clicked around on The Sims before, never Sim City. I was aware of both and what they are. Just never got into either. I have a weird habit of spending a ton of time on customizing things and then loosing all interest by the time I'm done. Gaming ADD.
