He could've prolonged his run at the top though with the right training. He should've held the belt for a pretty damn long time when you look at what was out there at LHW

Maybe but people act like Ibarra ruined his career when Rampage was only the fighter he was because of him. I donno if Jackson's style and Page's would have coexisted. Rampage is an MMA-boxer and his refinement and specialization of his boxing is what made him so dangerous. Before he came to the UFC he was a good fighter but was mostly famous for being murder victims of Chutebox. He had a long career and it isn't likely he would have survived Machida and Shogun during their 2008-10 peaks anyway no matter what he did. Maybe the smashing of the TUF era LHWs would have been nice but thats all I could ever see from him. He had a great career and plenty of time at the top.

His championship days are done but that doesn't mean there isn't money/entertainment to be squeezed out of him, stick Page in with Bonnar, Thiago or Ortiz.
