LOL like spelling was the reason you couldn't spit out a name. Again, nice try.

If Todd Duffee knocks him out then it just validates the Dana Myth about Fedor sucking.... I'd rather see him play the game and fight (UFC Fighters) than fight Todd Duffee or some other non-starter in a B-league.
Your posts are easy to read. What it is:
If Duffee was to win it would validate the Fedor is a myth BS.
You wanted something to happen and it didn't.
If you are not UFC you are inferior.
What it is not:
If Duffee wins it validates the argument that he is a very good up and coming young fighter who is of course capable of KOing Fedor and he should not of been cut.
Wanting Fedor to do has he sees fit for his professional career, as in not bend over to Zuffa's will, continue to or not to keep fighting MMA fights.
That fighters are only as good as the ability of casuals to recognize the logo on their gloves.

GDP have you also been hitting the K2?

Nothing I said indicates that I believe that. However, according to all MMA rankings, nearly all the top talent in nearly every weight class is in Zuffa nowdays. (how much of that is Zuffa hijacking the media and the fans and obscuring exposure to new fighters is up for debate) but basically dude, you're trying to argue with me on autopilot, to an argument I am not making. You're weirding me out lately. And I aint the only one who thinks you're being weird in general with your opinions.
My opinion is only this - Fedor vs lavar johnson, meathead, todd duffee, anyone not a legend like Mir, Nog, etc sucks. I don't buy into the "bend over backwards, nazi dana nazi UFC" deal and no one else really does anymore either. Let it go GDP. I miss MMA the way it was in 2009, but the times they are a changing, and legends only should fight legends. All the legends were gobbled up in the SF purchase. I didn't make the UFC buy SF. I didn't make M-1 make unrealistic demands. I didn't make Dana White be an anti fedor weirdo. you're mad at the wrong nigga, my nigga.

I think the fact that the UFC has hijacked the HW division of MMA hurts as much as anything else. There are so few decent fighters in the division, compared to the talent stacked in the lighter divisions, that it puts Fedor in a bit of a bind. That and his companies hardline and ludicrous stance of Co-promoting. Sure it looked like it was all going to work out for a moment with SF and one submission later the icing was off the cake.
Look guys, Fedor is a huge name in the sport and he (and M-1) has cost himself millions in revenue and even more millions in exposure. But I think if they came around to a logical way of thinking there would still be a few million to be made and many more millions to be sought in advertisement of their product. Look at Death Clutch and Clinch Gear. They are both fighter owned, but because they are seen on UFC programming, even casual fans know the name. More importantly we get to see one of the biggest names in the history of the sport, fighting other big names. Which is what we all want. This Todd Duffee stuff is Bullshit! You can neg me all day long and I will still be right.

And Why exactly is Duffee garbage though? Only reasons brought up in this thread seem to be who signs the checks and the fact that Duffee is to young to be a legend in the sport. Or that he lost two in a row, to two men who are collectively on a 25 fight unbeaten streak both going back to Sergei.

Duffee isn't garbage, but the rumor mill is unkind to him in terms of his roid abuse, commitment in the gym, chin etc so I just dont see the potential I used to see in him.

He could go down the tube, he could become a star, he's 26 and the potential is still there, in an increasingly bigger way. If Cook and Mendez are going o be managing a camp for him heading into a summer fight, that gets me interested.

Not that overeem can be counted against him, because we all know he hits hard, but that Russow KO was especially bad in what it says about his chin. HWs hit hard, of course, but that was not a huge KO punch that would have killed anyone, and he went shot-in-the-head-barret-50-call dead from that. Then there was the bizarre cutting by the UFC. Dana doesn't throw HW commodities away over nothing. The UFC isn't the biggest MMA promotion in the world because they toss out potential stars. That is another red flag. Then there is the hormone therapy exception, then there is the fact he just hasn't been fighting. I think there are better fights for Fedor, even if Duffee has the biggest name. And even if Duffee was clearly the best guy out there, which he isn't, I think his brand is too damaged for that win to hold a hell of a lot of water. And if he loses to Duffman? Josh and Andrew will become incorrigible.
I understand wanting to see him be his own man, and hold that non-zuffa light. I just dont see this as a fight with much upside.
