Yeah I went with Edgar, he has the Little Mac factor to win.

No, no you idiots, hes reppin Diamond Dallas Page!
He wouldn't be the first UFC champion from Asia, or of Asian ancestry anyway since by definition there have already been two UFC champions from Asia. If you wished to say "Modern UFC champion" or "post tournament era champion" or "title holder", then it becomes more clear.

Bendo by athleticism is also my pick, but Edgar winning would be no shock. I like fights like this where I cant really pick a true favorite.

Really? For me it's difficult to keep picking a guy who gets nearly finished in the first round who only wins by mounting epic comebacks as his opponent considerably fades. Similar to the perception guys who always seem to survive getting rocked are more immune to being TKO'd than average guys, when to me that says a TKO finish may be more likely than the average fighter who doesn't find himself nearly KO'd often.

I am taking Bendo, but won't be surprised if Frankie wins either.

I wanted to say that but I'd figure you'd tease me about Happy from SOA.

This will probably be my first time betting on a fight, Bendo is evens in the UK and I am pretty confident he'll win.

Those are his last two fights. Now, most people on this site didnt watch the sport before 2006 and even if they did theyve appeared to have lost most/all of the insights that long term hardcores bring with them, but back in 2006 the chins that everyone references as the best in MMA were Chucks, Nogs, Wands...where are those chins now? I aint saying dude gets hit like they do, but what I am saying is I think fans sometimes have blinders on and have been conditioned to believe that surviving tough fights means being less likely to be finished, when I think it means eventually youll be MORE likely to be finished.

i really dont see bendo controlling this fight with his wrestling like he usually does. Frankie is too elusive

I'm picking Bendo because that's who I'm routing for and in a case of a toss up that's just how I pick. Like all of us have said who have picked Bendo we wouldn't be surprised if Frankie won that said I completely agree with Wolfs logic on Frankie taking damage and it's making me wonder if defying the drop down in weightclass could have actually hurt his career in the long run.

wolf logic is very flawed. Frankie's style is not like those guys at all. And Maynard is a savage who on the right day can beat anyone at 55's. Beating gray twice, even close fights where he made to make a huge comeback is a huge accomplishment.

it may be true that a chin deteriorates over time but i'd be suprised if it's the fight against bendo where edgars disappears completely.

Im rolling Bendo, I just like the size, athleticism and tenacity factors here.
Def don't see this as a gimme, Edgar has proven too resourceful, and too resilient to be confident in picking against him.
Haven't given Frankie much love for the Jersey roots during his run, but I did like seeing the R on the hat during the fuel interview.
Fan of both, hoping for a good go.

Beating Gray twice is a huge accomplishment but before Gray faught Frankie no one thought he had any power in his hands, he was winning abunch of decisions wasn't he??
