Better late then never. Jake Ellenberger vs. Diego Sanchez

Jake will probably run away with this.

Looking at this forum youd think the fight was already over and Condit vs Jake was already booked...lol

Ellenberger by mauling. Diego is nowhere near my WW top 10. Should've lost to Kamp, won against Paulo who has looked awful for 2 years now, and lost to Hathaway

That isn't just here bud. I have seen that at every site I have been two. In both the comments and the articles themselves. Jake is a pretty big favorite in this fight.
Jake Ellenberger (-325) vs. Diego Sanchez (+250) was the last I saw.

Admittedly I root for Diego and see the glass half full on his career, but I still think people have been quick to slam the door shut on his future.

Diego still has the ability to be a grinder, but the influx of top shelf wrestlers at 170 greatly hurts him. He has good cardio, but his striking is average, striking defense is awful, and his wrestling won't be good enough to control most of the contenders at 170

I think it has less to do with Diego and more to do with Jake. People saw what he did in the Condit and Sheilds fights and he dominated the guys in between. While Diego was head butting strikes from Kampp all night long last time we saw him. Which was about 11 months ago, he needed that time to heal all the injuries he suffered last fight.
