I think I'm about to get fired

Well looks like my job is safe. The only thing bossman said to me this morning was "good morning". But I'm expecting a talk after the service meeting. I have been stressing the fuck out ever since it happened. Never done anything like that before, so I'm just embarrassed at this point.

Maybe take the bull by the horns and go talk to your boss. Let him know you know you fucked up. Let him know it won't happen again. Don't make excuses. Don't put the blame on anyone else. And hope he doesn't send you to anger management.

I thought about that. But I was just too gutless and embarrassed this morning to go and talk to him. I just sat at my desk like a scared little kid waiting for a lecture. They are still in the meeting, not sure what I will do. Probably just cower in the corner...

Since she didn't come in today, it really wasn't bad. Bossman never talked to me about anything, I'm thinking he will probably pull us both in a room when she is here next week. I don't think any of the techs really know what happened. Might be interesting when she comes in but today was pretty normal.

Send her a Valentines card.

Well I didn't talk to my boss, but I did talk to the lady I got into it with. More for my own piece of mind I apologized and told her it was totally inappropriate. Which seemed to really help because she has been in a much better mood since then. Every Wednesday I'm stuck in the office with her alone for most of the day, so should be less awkward now.
I went ahead a did a couple little things in the office that my boss has been mumbling about. It seemed to please him, so all seems good at work at the moment. I went ahead and knocked out the majority of my work this morning. I don't think I'll have to listen to any lecture or anything, so didn't work out too bad. My reaction to what happened was probably as big of an overreaction as the event itself.

Damn, this bitch came in my office today all emotional. Telling me she was sorry and explained somethings that she was going through. Her son just went back to Iraq the week before, so she was kind of jealous/envious not sure the correct word to use here, that me and most of our techs here are the same age as her son and she wishes he had a regular job like us instead of the extremely dangerous(he is a Ranger) job he choose. She just said she took it all out on me and wanted to apologize.

LOL exactly. It was suppose to "effect office moral" and help fix the tardiness problem. But if anything it has been worse since then. I have never been tardy, ever. If it keeps up, I'm going to see if I can work my magic again.
