http://www.mmamania.com/2012/1/27/2751766/ufc-on-fox-2-chael-sonnen-press-conference-promo At the UFC on Fox 2 pre-fight press conference, as well as in interviews with various members of the mixed martial arts (MMA) media, Sonnen would go off on tangents, seemingly out of nowhere. It's not even that he was answering questions with quick-witted responses that made fans chuckle. He carefully scripted spots that he was going to deliver come hell or high water, even if that meant cutting people off to shout his message into the microphone.
On top of his usual schtick (which badly needs to be updated with some new material, by the way), Chael literally turned into a rapper. This man sat at the podium and spit rhymes like they were hot fire in an attempt to ... well ... I'm not sure why he did it.
Quote :
"You're looking at the reflection of perfection, the one that gets all your attention. You're looking at the man with the biggest arms, the man with the greatest charm, And the man who came to Chicago to do a lot of harm to the guy three doors down."
"Maybe I can ask a question, maybe I can ask three of Michael Bisping, First, what are going to do when you know who? How are you gonna deal with the man of steel? And how will you react to Sonnen's attack?"

Big swing and a miss with the rhymes. Not sure who told him that was a good idea, but it's one of his worst yet.

Usually Sonnen can be quite witty and amusing but that whole act just felt forced and pre-meditated.

I liked it, it has Rick Flair, Hulk Hogan and Jesse The Body all in one.

Rhymes were not terrible. Typical Sonnen, though and I've been bored with it for awhile. If he were more exciting in the ring, I might enjoy the act more, but he's not, he's pretty boring, but the act coupled with the boring fight style is a lousy combo.
AND
Why is the belt in front of Sonnen? UFC playing right into the act. Pretty shameless.

It is there because Sonnen put it there.

No I actually agree, he was too well-prepared in this go round with stuff that was rehearsed. He was at his best in the Fox press conference back when they announced the fights when he was dropping gems to questions people were asking him without missing a beat

First off it is Ric Flair, and yes to everything else...BTW Ric Flair is on the Mount Rushmore of Pro-wrestling, which doesn't exist, much like a win in the four squared circle.

LOL my bad I wasn't thinking. Obviously he's on it cause he has held the belt the most and hopefully it stays that way. I live by him now hopefully I run into him somewhere I'll record it or take a pic when I see him, I'll cream in my pants.

I think Sonnen's mic work is getting worse though. It's so much more rehearsed and so much less crazy and seeming off-the-cuff. It's just less interesting than it was around the first Silva fight.

I don't know the post fight presser was pretty good.
"I'd rather talk about real men like Michael Bisping who step in on 10 days' notice and fight me," Sonnen said. "Those are the types of guys I'd rather give attention to – not some bum in Brazil."
"If those blowhards (in Brazil) with their blow darts want to come at me, they can send anyone want they want," he said. "But don't send anyone you want back."

Please, Chael wishes he was as charismatic and cool as The Rock.

If i was in Chael's position..i'd go for more of a Rick Rude-esque character.
"What id like to have right now...is for all you fat, ugly, and out of shape sweathogs to button your lips, open your eyes, and listen to what a real mans got to say...yeah it was a good fight, Bisping surprised me.

Fast Five was spectacular, it erased my horrible memories of torture from having to sit through three hours of Once Upon A Time In America.

Yes, i'm happy that Fast Five erased the memories of last time you watched a movie that required an attention span longer than 30 seconds and the ability to think.
I'm glad you enjoy these shallow action flicks...they were made just for movie goers like you. Hollywood calls them "suckers"

I know it's difficult for an old man such as yourself to enjoy those type of action flicks, the loud cars and explosions play havoc with your hearing aid, and anytime a hot chick shows some flesh your blood pressure goes through the roof.

Yes, at my elderly age of 25 i can't stand movies that most competent viewers of film stopped caring about when they turned 17.
It's not time for me to grow down, it's time for you to grow up.
