I've seen people put him waaaaay up there. Maybe not on here, but I can't recall.

Jones is a far better grappler than striker. His length is tough to overcome in the standup if youre slow and one dimensional but Machida had success against him. He will eat up the Rampage types all day though

Jones has kung fu treachery in his striking with the elbows, spins and dynamic lunges. But his regular striking is just good not great, length really helps him out.

Yeah Jones biggest strength is his physical attributes. It is a bigger factor then both his grappling and striking technique/skill. He isn't the best wrestler or striker, but he has freakish length and and is difficult to get a hold of.

He is a natural PED, it's not fair.
