| Nothing I'd like better then to see the Pats go down, they are one of the few teams I unjustly despise. But think they win. 34-27 | |

| I think New England wins as well. Giants are kind of playing out of their minds right now but it has been going on for several weeks now and they might have busted their last nut in Candlestick tonight. ...just saying, Giants would benefit a lot more if the game was next week and not two weeks from now. I think talent wise, they are a team that wants to strike iron while it's hot..we'll see how they are playing together in 2 weeks.
I hope the Giants win though, they deserve it. I just think the road has been too long and hard for the Giants. New England got a complete jobber in the divisional game and Baltimore beat themselves. They'll just be a lor more fresh and i don't see the Patriots shooting themselves in the foot.

| The only thing I'm confident about right now is taking the under, 55 1/2 seems way high for that game.
Too early to say, I thought the Giants would go down yesterday but I also counted on the new Alex Smith showing up. After losing that game I think the niners are one big move away from being a top tier team.

| could go either way but i like the giants, i think their offense can hang with the pats and their defense is more likely to make a big play.
with all the shit you'll hear about god and the spirit of mrs kraft in the coming fortnight, as an atheist i have to root for the giants to disprove gods existence. i'm also tired of having those cunts in our division.

| How about this incredible Xerox of fate for the Giants.
In 2007, the Giants started the playoffs by beating an NFC South team. Then they beat the No. 1 seed on the road. Then they beat the No. 2 seed in the conference title game when the foe turned it over in overtime and gave the Giants a short field and the Giants won on a Lawrence Tynes overtime field goal. Then they moved on to face the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
In 2011, let's see ... NFC South team, No. 1 seed, No. 2 seed, overtime, turnover, Tynes, Patriots. Check.
One more thing:
2007: Giants lose to Washington 22-10 in Week 15.
2011: Giants lose to Washington 23-10 in Week 15.

| Had a hard time getting into this game even though it was close. The stadium had no energy and the wrong teams were in it...the commercials werent funny although some were boner inducing.
I'm happy the Giants won though, Patriots would have been the worst overall team to win it all in recent memory if they had. I also didnt want the gift wrapped trip to the super bowl from the 49ers to go to waste.

| Peyton Manning is a better QB with a better individual resume as if there is any question. Colts most years have never had the full package(average to mediocre defense) and most of their best years were in a time when the AFC was the real power with the Patriots dynasty, Pittsburgh..now it's not.
Superbowls are team achievements. Eli was amazing and he is clutch, but other than the Packers game it's not like Eli was lighting up the scoreboard...the Giants defense was the x-factor. I don't typically assign superbowl wins or losses to the QB's..it's a thing i don't like about the game.

| I'd rather have one superbowl over zero, so i'll take Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino. | |

| Eli wasn't as good early in his career but if he plays like this year for.most of the rest of his career then hell contend with his bro in these discussions because this year is about as good as any season peyton ever had. | |

Is this a serious question? I'd rather have the guy who carries his team to a 10-6 season or better for over ten straight seasons despite an average defense most of the time. We saw what happens when Peyton isn't playing for the Colts. They went from 10-6 in 2010 to 2-14 in 2011 with essentially the same group of guys minus Peyton. Eli has shown himself to have the ability to be an elite quarterback but he has shown inconsistency on many occasions. He comes up big in big spots there's no doubt about that but Peyton is the more consistent player. Eli no doubt has the better team around him. He actually has a running game and defense that isn't just two defensive ends who get it done. I guess a good answer to this is that even if Peyton never plays another snap he's a shoe in for the hall of fame. Had Eli not won a second ring would we be able to say the same thing?
