| It has today been confirmed that former three-time UFC title contender, Kenny Florian will provide the colour commentary for the promotions ‘B-team’ on UFC on FX cards, working alongside his former MMA Live partner, Jon Anik once again.
Anik confirmed the news with MMAJunkie.com earlier today when he said:
“It’s really a vision I had since we started working on ‘MMA Live’ together – that’d we’d be calling UFC fights together. I just really think he’s such a natural at it, and he’s got a gift of simplifying things. … He’s going to make my life much easier.”
Anik and Florian will handle all broadcast duties on cards that Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan don’t appear on, starting with this Friday’s card in Nashville, Tennessee, headlined by Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller. A number of other high profile names had been considered for the role such as Frank Mir, Rich Franklin and Stephan Bonnar.
