Night shift

I have to work the night shift this week starting tomorrow. Any of u guys ever worked nights? How did u like it?

What hours do you have to work?

Night Shift isn't so bad depending on what you do for a living. I used to do security at nights for a sportsbetting complex. I spent most of My time just hanging out watching cameras and making rounds once an hour. If you like the quiet it's pretty good.

Damn, those are tough hours. By the time you get home, shower and jump into bed the whole world would be up which makes it much harder to sleep.

Yeah, you definitely want to get your rest. Remember that it takes twelve hours of daytime sleep to equal the amount of proper rest you might get in eight hours of night time sleep.

I'd also recommend either hitting the gym after work to tire you out, or a quickie with the missus

Being tired aint the problem its kids want to play with there dad all the time. They dont know I just worked 11 hours all night.

I think finishing at 8am should have him tired out.

I use to work 2pm-1am 4 days a week at a call center.

Eh I hated the job, but there hours were OK. Just sucked working on xmas and new years. I worked 2 days then I was off 1 day, then I worked 2 days and was off 2 days. So that helped me not get burned out too fast.

i occasionally do night shifts, usually providing mental health support.

i spend most of the time sitting around doing fuck all though, not a big fan of night shifts if i'm honest.

I liked how everyone else was asleep. I could go to Walmart without any lines. No traffic. I was able to roll up a blunt in my car in the parking lot of work. I kind of like sleeping in late and staying up to 5am everyday. But I do like the more traditional M-F 8-5 with Holidays off(paid).

Well there is an hour lunch break that I don't get paid for so it's considered a 10 hour shift.

Well Im done on the night shift!!!!!
