| I think they are in for continued mediocre PPV numbers
GSP comeback will sell and Sonnen-Silva II when it goes down. Other than that I see a lot of 400-500k tops events

| Even this one will be one of Brocks worse PPV showings I bet. I ran into several, well known to me, casuals who would normally eat up this card, in particular, on my way to where I watched the fights last night, none of them knew there was even a UFC this weekend.
Jon Jones has really been this years revenue rising star, not quite matching his MMA rise though, but he has consistently seen cards he headlines along side other well known fighters like Shogun and Rampage, see over 450k in the buys. That will carry over as a norm for him when juxtaposed to the bevy of cards that got around 300k this year, is not bad.
Guys like Silva and GSP are gonna remain constants thought to be safe bets to get over 500k buys.
I feel like this right now:
1a/1b. Silva and GSP 2. Bones 3. Penn??? always a sell, but maybe retired. 4. Shogun/Hendo/Rampage 5. HW Champ 6. All other Champs/Nick Diaz - could be a rising PPV draw if he keeps winning.
In the last two years all of the cards that have gotten over 400k buys have a seires of common denominators in their main events: Lesnar, Silva, GSP, Penn, Rua, Jackson, Bones and Liddell. The expections being UFC UFC 98 and UFC 102 although I guess you can include Machida, all of his UFC have been over 400k, but that has as much to do with the other name if not more so.
1/17/09 UFC 93 Franklin v. Henderson 350,000 1/31/09 UFC 94 GSP v. Penn II 920,000 3/7/09 UFC 96 Jackson v. Jardine 350,000 4/18/09 UFC 97 Silva v. Leites 650,000 5/23/09 UFC 98 Evans v. | Nick Diaz as interm champion against a returning GSP will be the next big card I think, depending on how Overeem vs JDS does now that most casuals should be engaged for this fight.

| I just think matchups will dictate who the highest ppv guy is. John Jones rised because he was fighting guys like Shogun, Rampage and Machida. If u put good cards out they will sell. I think UFC 142 is going to do terrible. | |

| I haven't paid for one since 121 so no. Just saying the card will be huge in Brazil. They'll gladly take the 250k buyrate and move on with Aldo becoming a huge start in his country | |

| Jon Jones will be the next PPV king. UFC 142 will do less than 200,000 buys. |
