I highly doubt you can find it there. You may need to make a trip to The Lone Star State and stock up.

ZiegenBock is an Amber beer (not a bock which is kinda funny) from Anheuser Busch made to compete with Shiner down here... I would say just try a Budweiser American Ale and you will get the same thing for the most part. Both are bud ambers TexanDomesticBleh.. whatever, I love beer. Importim going to brew my own beer this January .. have to wait till after christmas .. pretty pumped .. its going to be my new hobby.

| I brewed my own beer one time it is fun as hell but you have to wait 2-3 months before you drink it. Mine came out at 7.9% is was some good shit for a rookie. It was like amber bock with a hint of malt. | |

| Sam Adams is my number one beer easily. Budlight/Miller Lite is to my tastebuds what Nickleback, Britney Spears, Madonna and Taylor Swift is to music. Mass produced, acceptable piss designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Sam Smiths is pretty good for an import, and I typically like Stouts and Porters from England/UK the most. Hoppy beer sucks.

| Sam Adam's isn't overly hoppy though. Not even as hoppy as a typical pilsner right? Maybe I am in over my head on the beer talk.
I'm sort of a beer snob noob. I hate unrefined piss water redneck-bar slut beer like budlight and shit, and have spent tons of money on imports and typically drink that and specialty beers but I guess I don't know enough about my tastes to really describe what I like.
I do know this, I had some Michalob beer called "hob hound" and it was the worst beer ever.

I'm pretty sure Boston Lager is known for its hops. Yes its less than the tradition IPA, Stout, or Bohemian-style pilsner but as far as what we've been comparing it to (BL, Miller Light etc) it is definitely more bitter.

| I don't even dislike bitter beer if that German/Belgian style of beers like Becks, St. Pauli and Heinis is considered bitter or hoppy. I like that stuff. I don't like IPA's or Pilsners much. | |

| sam adams puts a lot of emphasis on the hops they use, and the dry hopping process.. it isnt just boston lager. | |

| Most all beer uses hops, but talking about the type of hops you use doesn't mean it's "hoppy" from what I understand? | |

I havnt began brewing my own beer / testing stuff like that .. but I am pretty sure that certain hops will give it more of a hoppy/bitter taste than others
