Jon Fitch or Nick Diaz? who is the number 2 Welterweight?

Who is more deserving of the number 2 spot behind GSP?

Diaz. I would like to see him face Ellenberger or Johnson while GSP fights Condit.

I'd like to see him face Koscheck.

GSP was asking Dana for Diaz. They'll probably jip Condit

Fitch would beat Diaz just like Koscheck would. I think Diaz is the #2 welterweight in line for a title shot for the simple fact that he beat BJ. BJ beat Diaz in the first round when he outboxed him, got a TD with ease, and looked even with his jui jitsu against Nick in that round. Then he gassed! Fitch and Kos would wrestle fuck the Diaz of tonight, and wouldn't have punched themselves out like Penn did. Diaz would use alot more of that cardio with Kos and Fitch on top of him also. Those guys are just too good at wrestling and holding a guy down that doesn't have the initials GSP. Condit would have finished BJ if that was him in there instead of Diaz too. I think Condit beats Diaz, but Diaz has a better chance of beating him then he does Kos and Fitch. Carlos can't take Diaz down at will like those two can though. I just think Condit is a better all around fighter than Diaz is. Diaz is #5 in the UFC based on who I think is best, or would beat the other guy when all four fought eachother.

If that was GSP tonight, I think he clowns Diaz just like he did Hardy.

Condit is gonna fight GSP next. GSP is hurt and Nick will be able to fight in a few months. Let Nick earn that title shot and beat a few top guys in the UFC. BJ wasn't the number 2,3, or 4 ranked guy in the WW division anyways. Condit, Kos,and Fitch are. If Nick beats one of them and BJ, then he has those 2 wins against top guys in the UFC and deserves the shot after Condit.

I think Diaz deserves a shot but not ahead of Condit now.

i cant argue against Condit, he's a class fighter and does deserve a shot. But this is Nicks time, this is the right fight to make right now and that why Dana did what he did.

I think the same about Nick. He deserves a shot but not right now. Condit was promised the shot, Dana said a few days ago it didnt matter what the outcome of the Diaz vs Penn fight that condit wouldnt get jumped, and third GSP got hurt not Carlos. I just think it really sucks that Diaz got to leap frog Condit.

Diaz messed up. Was it worth him losing his title shot....probably not but thats what Dana decided. I dont know either way it will be a good opponent for GSP I just thought Condit got low balled alittle bit in this deal.

He was already ahead of him before the first switch around. This win can't move Nick backward.

since nick beat fitch and didnt have a draw and the fact that fitch got his shot already and the fact that diaz is the SF champ. I say Diaz hands down.
