| When the quaterback passes the ball forward does he have to do it like they do it now at all times or can he also throw it forward underhand like a rugby pass? |

| There is no rule for how to pass the ball, they could throw it underhanded if they want but it would have to be done while a QB was running out of the pocket otherwise he would likely hit his linemen in the back | |

| With the shape of the ball, it's just more logical to throw it the way they do with a tight spiral. Tight spiral is very important in windy conditions. | |
