| no one beats nick diaz easily anymore, he's too well rounded. Let's see how good Bj's boxing really is. Diaz's stand up is a whole lot better than hughes obviously, and bj got outboxed by frankie... | |

lol Anyways, BJ vs Diaz was a way better fight for me. I wish DW woulda let Kos fight Condit though. I don't see why you hang Condit on the shelf for 2-3 more months when he is ready to fight. If he beats Kos that builds this fight up even more. If he loses to Kos, throw in the winner of BJ/Nick when GSP gets back. I can see why they want to hold back Condit though.

| I think if Kos had another fight under his belt after the one sided beat down, he may of in fact got the go ahead, but losing to the guy, and winning one fight against an aging Hughes doesn't put you in line to fight the #1 contender, props to him for wanting that fight though, on what two weeks notice, may of had something to do with it too. | |

| He should protect Condit. Condit stepped up to the plate when Nick Diaz decided not to eat his fucking dinner.... | |

| Condit doesn't need any protection. Dude comes to fight. If GSP steam rolled Condit I would be extremely impressed. It would impress me more then any of his recent wins. | |

| Look I wouldn't ever wish a fighter to be hurt but this ensures that I continue my boycott of GSP ppvs excuse me while I do a little dance.
BJ vs Nick is now the main event? This is cause for celibration
Sucks for Condit tho, he's a badass he doesn't deserve this shit

| The details are murky. Even in the information-saturated world of professional football, injury details are often vague, contradictory, or both. St. Pierre's injury is no different. For instance, Firas Zahabi, St. Pierre's head trainer, describes the injury as a "bad sprain." UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, however, told the L.A. Times that St. Pierre had not torn his medial collateral ligament. The issue here is that a sprain, by definition, involves tearing of a ligament. I imagine what Fertitta likely means is that the MCL did not rupture, i.e. suffer a complete tear. | |

fully understand though. If Penn and Kos won that night, that would leave zero interesting challengers for GSP.

Carlos says no other fight makes sense at this time... and if the time frame of GSPs recovery is around 2 months then he should wait for it

| Kos's wrestling could've maybe LnP'd to a win but Condit would straight merk him on the feet.
But obviously zero reason for Condit to take another fight given the estimated time frame here
