| That's similar to what SF has paid out. And the commission reported salary is only that. Matt Lindland fought for 50k n one SF show and 1$ the next. These don't tell the story at all, just what's guaranteed. | |

| And what should M-1 be paying exactly? they are small, regional type level shows. | |

Daniel Madrid – $2,500
Tom Gallicchio – $3,000
Joshua Thorpe – $2,000
Yasubey Enomoto – $4,500
Eddie Arizmendi - $2,500
Artur Guseinov - $2,250
Kenny Garner - $5,000
Maxim Grishin - $2,000
Vinny Magalhaes - $5,500
Mikhail Zayats - $3,000
That is embarrassing to pay the top guy on the main event and lhw champ $5,500.00. I made more then that in two weeks last month for selling cars and this guy had to train for months and then go in and fight someone. M-1 is just as shady as some of those japanese orgs who don't pay their fighters. I would've pawned the belt and then quit if I was Vinny. How much should a fighter like Vinny demand? prelim fighters IN the UFC make less than that a lot of the time, and they are probably as good if not better than Vinny.

| Yeah, you know people are looking to jump on M-1 when they look at a payout list mainly consisting of fighters they have never heard of before except for a lone TUF cast off and start scoffing at the pay as if they should somehow demand more based on nothing.

Yeah Kings, Vinny is just some TUF cast off. I bet 20 top guys in the UFC would slap you for saying that. $5500.00 is a joke for Fedor's big company that could pass on millions from Zuffa right? Suck it one year later Fedor fans! High five Drew and Josh!

High five Drew and Josh! If he's so great...why didnt Dana put a gun to his head and make him sign for a meager 5k like apparently M-1 did? So much better than a TUF cast off, which he is..they did not even keep him and he was a finalist...i guess they didnt feel right paying the guy only 5K...he's an amazing BJJ practitioner but so is Andre Galvao..as an MMA fighter he isnt anything and wont be anything to write home about..and he does not demand more than 5K...obviously as he signed for 5k. You seem because he main evented that they are obliged to overpay him.

Vinny will be back in the UFC. You hate on him here but I bet he will be signed by the UFC in 6-8 months, That's what it boils down to Kings. The guy can fight.

| Why is he worth more at 9-5 with just about no name value or even high consideration as a top prospect?
Keep in mind, that Vinny brought a 4-5 record to M-1...chances are he got a deal worth 5K per fight THEN when he was an on record loser, which is actually generous and now.... hardly anybody knows who he is outside of hardcore fans and even the hardcore fans don't view him as anything to give a fuck about outside of his competitive BJJ, and now M-1 is on Showtime..thats a platform FOR HIM to win a fight and then spit in the face of the promoters. M-1 Challenge is just like Strikeforce challengers...they arent featuring top level or top paid talent. They are, by design featuring mainly international up and comers who don't and should not demand anything more than you would see at the bottom of the UFC prelim card where Vinny would be featured for roughly the same pay as a 9-5 fighter, probably MORE now that he has been given a platform by Showtime/M-1.

You keep thinking that Kings. M-1...You can have ur belt back! Vinny isn't the same guy he was 2 years ago. I think he has alot of potential right now. Beleive what you want, he whooped up on Werdum a few weekks ago in grappling and his striking has been great lately. M-1 sucks with or with out him so what!? They took Bader over him in the best division at the time. Vinny could give him a way better fight now, bet!

| I wouldn't say Vinny's striking is anything to write home about. He was definitely losing that fight the other night until the head kick and even a bjj squirrel finds a nut every once in a while | |

| Why would i need a rebuttal when you didnt offer anything other than the incoherence i already tore to shreds with simple logic? Want my rebuttal? go back and read my the other posts and you'll likely have any pigheaded questions you still have answered
and i'll finally adress Fedor since it's obvious that you're dying for me to even though i just don't see where it fits...the topic of Fedor is less than irrelevent to the dicussion of Vinny's pay day for this past event. My opinion on how much a Vinny should be paid has zero to do with the org..on your side of the discussion it has everything to do with the org, the fact that you keep obnoxiously bringing it up like it means ANYTHING is just proving my point that you are only harping on the pay because of your ruptured vagina over 2 year old shit and not that you really believe Vinny Magalhaes is entitled to a bigger pay day to headline a small show. The fact that you have Fedor after all this time listed as your favorite fighter further makes you look like a clown that you surely are.
But it's ok...i'll forget your awkward and insulting behavior that you display almost weekly just like i always do and be nice until next time you fill up with too much gas or more than likely drink too much.

| $5,500 for the top fighter is less than most of the guys, if not all of them on UFC Prelims. Last I looked they were all making $6k, but I agree it doesn't tell the whole story. But Vinny is right about them takig sides. Sure DW would have liked Brock winning, but he isn't going to jeapordize the brands making it happen... | |

I think he should be back in the UFC. I just thought it was laughable that their champ in the main event only got paid $5500.00 I'm not saying he deserves this or that at all. He definately deserves more than 5 grand though. PS Kings, I know I have Fedor listed as one of my favorite fighters and he has been. I can be a fan of his and not be blinded by all the other stuff like some other Fedor fans. I couldn't stand that he was ducking competition and M-1 was screwing things up for him is all. Guys like me and Drew called him out on it and people thought that meant I didn't like him. That couldn't be further from the truth. I do think it's about time to drop him from my favorite fighter list. I still like Fedor but Sonnen has taken his place here on my list so thanks for the reminder.

I will put it like this....I would think the main event guy at an M-1 show who is there LHW champ would be making atleast $25k a fight. I guess I thought M-1 was bigger then what they really are. I guess they aren't as successful as I thought they were over in Europe if they can only pay out 30 grand for every fighter on their card. Still laughable!

Still laughable! I just Googled "Bellator payout" and this was one of the first thing that popped up. No one earned more then 25K and that was with the 15K win bonus. Eddie Alvarez is on the list. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/4/7/826325/bellator-payouts-total-237000
