| So Gil is essentially the tied for second best LW in the world based on this boards new rankings. His average ranking is 2.9, Bendo's is 3.0 and Maynards is 3.1.
Sherdog has him 2, SB Nation has him 2, Fight Matrix has him 2, MMA Weekley has him 2, ESPN Panel has him 2, etc.,. He is the second best lightweight in the sport.
How the fuck can someone come out and say he is gonna keep trucking in SF if he beats Masvidal and he is happy about it? Especially with what he can do and who he has done it to, a slew of top ten fighters. I don't get that.

| Well at least the Bowling fight got a little more interesting and maybe, just maybe, a tad hair less one sided. | |

| Nto only did he miss 170, but he missed 179.5 catch weight they agreed to after he was no where near 170. | |

| Naw, you're allowed a pound of variance. Thus 180.5 is on weight for a 179.5 fight. That is why they came up with that particular weight. | |

- SF is cheap programming. They don't have to pull in a lot of viewers. The hardcores will watch, which is mainly what SF was always anyway. I'd be surprised if there's a big dip in the ratings
Compared to what? To the Barnett Sergei card? I can see SF cards from hear fwd being in and around that mark. But all cards going fwd will surely be well below the average ratings of past SF shows. Hardcores did watch, but even hardcores turn out in less #'s when there is lesser name/talent value on a card.

Gina is still a pretty big draw. Strikeforce can continue to create new stars just like they would have otherwise, and how other leagues like Bellator will. Nothing changes that much.

No, it was actually a 179 catchweight once they realized he was no where close. Then he still couldn't even make that. That is why they almost fought at weigh ins.
