| My dream for UFC Japan – spent way too much of my work-day on this….
Main Card Jose Aldo vs. Hatsu Hioki – featherweight championship Fresh off his win over George Roop, Hioki skips ahead of Chad Mendes to challenge Aldo’s iron-clad grip on the featherweight title.
Josh Barnett vs. Antonio Nogueira Barnett is re-introduced to the UFC in the land that made him an MMA star. Barnett joins the UFC after winning the Strikeforce HW GP, and faces his old nemesis Antonio Nogueira. The pair split wins in Japan during Pride’s glory years. Nogueira is coming off his second loss to Frank Mir.
Lyoto Machida vs. Antonio Nogueira Machida is coming off a loss to Jon Jones. Now the Karate Kid faces off against a quasi-teammate, who he has stated he would face in the past, and was also a star in Pride. Nogueira is coming off a win over Tito Ortiz.
Yushin Okami vs. Wanderlei Silva Okami is coming off a loss to Anderson Silva and Wanderlei is coming off a win over Cung Le. Okami is the best fighter to come out of Japan and he has the opportunity to take out the guy that smashed Japanese fighter after Japanese fighter in the days of Pride.
Kid Yamamoto vs. Urijah Faber The match-up everyone wanted three years ago is finally here. Kid vs. Urijah. Both fighters are coming off wins, Kid over Darren Uyenoyama and Urijah over Brian Bowles. The Japanese will be jacked for this contest.
TV Broadcast Mirko Filipovic vs. Stefan Struve This could be Crocop’s swan song as he is coming off a tough loss to Roy Nelson. He now faces one of his tallest tests, in freakshow fashion, in Struve, coming off a win himself over another kickboxer, Pat Barry, whom Crocop also submitted.
Takanori Gomi vs. Jeremy Stephens The Japanese and Pride LW star looks to get back to his winning ways against lw slugger Stephens, which should promise to be a show.
Undercard Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Brian Ebersole Akiyama joins the WW division and is welcomed by creative WW Ebersole who is coming off a loss to Rory MacDonald.
Miguel Torres vs. Takeya Mizugaki A rematch of the bantamweight title fight a few years back. One of the most entertaining fights ever. Both are on winning streaks.
Riki Fukada vs. Chris Leben Fukada is coming off a controversial decision loss and is welcomed back by exciting MW Leben.
Michihiro Omigawa vs. Diego Nunes Omigawa gets one more chance likely to stay in the UFC if he can get past talented and exciting Brazilian Nunes.

| Yeah, I think Leben will lose to Munoz, plus I would love to see him fight in Japan. I think the fans would adore him. Being on the bottom of this card wouldn't be an insult. | |
