| Let's hear em:
Frankie Edgar- Gilbert Melendez (and...NEW UFC LW champion of the world)
Jose Aldo- Chad Mendes
Chael Sonnen - Anderson Silva II (*retirement match announced by Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura)
Nam Phan - who cares
Joe Lauzon - Hmm, how about Nate Diaz
Anthony Pettis - Dos Anjos
Demian Maia - Tim Boetsch, hopefully not a squash match against Belfort
And for the losers: Brian Stann - loser of Bisping/Mayhem
Gray Maynard - so many possibilities, returning Sherk, rematch with Jim Miller, and even though I never match W v L, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Dunham either
Kenny - move back to 155 and be a stiff test for up and coming talent like the Barbozas of the the world
Leonard Garcia - get away from TV set
Melvin - Again so many possibilities at LW. Who knows, just get him a fight. Ross Pearson

| I think Kenny should stay at 145. Aldo always has a chance of losing or moving up. He just needs to pray that Mendes never gets ahold of the title. Style nightmare for Ken Flo. | |

| LW has enough challengers lined up right now. No need to remove the kingpin from 145 yet. He still has a couple fights there | |

| I didn't say anything about removing Aldo from Featherweight, although I can't see him remaining there long. |

He's having issues making weight, he'll have to move up soon.

Pettis hasn't earned this yet. Edgar: Gilbert Melendez, or the winner of Clay Guida/Benson Henderson Maynard: Guida/Henderson loser Pettis: Edson Barboza or Ross Pearson Stout: Raphael Dos Anjos Sonnen: Anderson Silva Stann: Yoshihiro Akiyama Guillard: Dennis Siver rematch Lauzon: Takanori Gomi, Nate Diaz, or Kenny Florian Florian: Mark Hominick, or if he goes back up to Lightweight give him Evan Dunham or Joe Lauzon again Aldo: Chad Mendes Phan: George Roop Garcia: Erick Koch Maia: Rousimar Palhares or Yushin Okami(Palhares is more of a dream matchup, it doesn't hold much relevance as far as advancing in the division goes) Santiago: Cut Simpson: Tim boetsch Schafer: Cut Cantwell: Cut Massenzio: Nick Ring Beltran: Stefan Struve or Mark Hunt Miocic: Pat Barry

| I'm really hoping Bendo can beat Guida, cause he vs Edgar would be sweet.
And Guida Edgar would prob be pretty good too, cause I think Edgar would keep Guida from just grinding.
All the above mentioned are also great energy and stamina wise, and that is a big positive for a 5 rnder.

Pettis hasn't earned this yet. well ludo it wasnt long ago pettis was about to get the title shot. i love gil buit then again his biggest wins have come against overhyped jap talent ala santiago. gil is not santiago. dude is top for sure but still hasnt proven himself against some of the elite that have come state side. pettis is not elite guy but both would be a good match for each other

| I disagree Throwdown. Sure Pettis lost to Guida, but he was promised the next match-up with Frankie, when the draw happened. So after re-scheduling, Pettis fought Clay and lost, but won his next match. At least he fights, some of these guys don't seemingly want to do that. | |

| Gil needs to have at least one fight in the UFC before we start popping off about how great he really is. He has been fighting in lower class organization. Now I know the SF defenders ill come screaming out of the woodwork, but so far the only evidence I have seen might be Hendo-Shields. And might I point out that Shields hasn't exactly been kicking ass over in the UFC? And then Hendo TKO'd his last 3 competitors, even though I really only counted Calvacante, because he is younger and shows up in shape...

| When Gil beat Kawajiri within an inch of his life in about 3 minutes, he earned the right to unify the titles. Dana will make it happen | |

| Gil's wins on his 5 fight win streak = #1 contender for any LW title in the world. The thought that he needs a win in org is asinine and comical. | |

Disagree. He still needs to beat an contender IMO. But I said the same thing about Diaz too. Seriously who the hell has Diaz beat? Glad he has to face Penn.

| Frankie got the shot because of Maynards bad performance in the Fight Night and Maynard saying he wasn't ready for a title shot. He beat Franca, Sherk, and Veach. Before the Maynard loss he beat Spencer Fisher, Mark Bocek, Tyson Griffin and Jim Miller.
