Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income.

In other words, these are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not represent the total amounts earned by each fighter.

As good as this card was I think every fighters salary should get doubled. I'm still blown away at how great this event was.

They only drew like 1500, and who knows if they comp'd any tickets.

So, hard to imagine the gate even covering the salary of the GP fighters.

This card got no promotion at all unless you saw some Showtime commercials on Showtime, and UFC has stopped promoting SF on their shows after Diaz-Daley and Overeem-Werdum(see the connection)

I hear what you are saying, but think about this. I recently watched a shitty, boring boxing event on on Southern TV and those guys got paid $25 a round! The low level MMA events pay around here $500. The big guys (names) in MMA don't get paid like the boxing names. But the guys who earn shit in SF and the UFC earn livable wages. Plus this never includes sponsor money...
