Guys like Daley, Hardy, Rumble, etc are a crap shoot with Diaz. The guys mentioned above and most great wrestlers will beat Nick. GSP would've been embarrasing. I'll handle this in one fell swoop here. Diaz would absolutely fucking wreck Woodley. He would probably get taken down at first but his bottom game is alot better than Daley's(who swept and almost submitted Woodley from the bottom by the way) and standing it would be just as close, which is not at all. When Woodley lost steam in the third round Diaz would pour it on and force a stoppage one way or another.

Daley would probably lose 9 out of every 10 times by Diaz and the only time Daley wins that fight is when Diaz stands with him and gets caught again.

Hardy just got his shit pushed in by Chris Lytle, who is about on the same level of technical boxing as Diaz(when Lytle is being technical), Diaz would ruin Hardy's liver if he didn't choke his rookie ass out.

Rumble gets submitted with a quickness because his big ass is clumsy and leaves himself open. Hughes gets blasted and blasted in career ending fashion by Diaz.

I do agree GSP had the upper hand in this fight, though. With Condit the lines are a little blurred simply because he is much more explosive. But barring a KO that looks eerily similar to the Stungun fight he's more or less dead in the water here too.

Nick can Box, but Lytle is better imo. You're right about Rumble and Hardy. I wasn't serious with the whole post. A lil sarcasm was there if ya didn't notice. I stand by my comment that Diaz would get beat by most of the top guys in the UFC and I think Woodley would beat him also. Matt Hughes isn't what he once was, but Diaz would not wreck him imo. Silly comment dude. My whole point is that I am glad he isn't getting a title shot because its a waste of our time. He should beat a guy like BJ or Kos before he gets a crack at GSP. Condit deserves the shot before Nick anyways.

No one else sees a little Ricky Williams qualities in Diaz? Ricky had some clear social anxiety problems. Even wore his helmet during interviews. He "marched to a beat of a different drum". Left the NFL in his prime to do some soul searching/missions/whatever.

He didn't leave, he got suspended for an entire season for getting busted multiple times with marijuana. After he realized nobody would sign him immediately following the suspension he went to the CFL. This isn't even really the same thing. The only connections are the anxiety and pot. Williams did his job and what came with it, even if he wore his helmet during interveiws at least he took them. Though there is symmetry in the fact that both guys wasted a ton of talent over outside bullshit. If thats what you were getting at then disregard the post prior to this.

OU, I see what you are saying, but come on? Zuffa has already put together prime press releases, shipped out posters, programs, paid for commercial spots, put together media packages and primers. Now they have to rush everything, plus pay for it again? He cost the organization money it will probably never recoup and the only clear winner in this whole mess is Carlos Condit. Who is going on my favorite fighter list for jumping through hoops Pussy Nick couldn't handle...

Diaz needs to man up, plain and simple. He agreed to do something and he didn't do it, therefore, his word means nothing. He can go on and on calling it a "beauty pageant" and proclaiming that he wants to "get paid," but what he doesn't realize is he wouldnt "get paid" if not for the media and fans. Therefore, these press conference are an intergral part in his "getting paid." He expects to get paid without having to fullfill his obligations, which is the actions of a boy, not a man. Regardless of any social anxiety or other excuses they want to throw out there, Diaz just needs to grow up and stop acting like he is entitled to everything.

I'm not saying they are identical, just have some similarities. Ricky might have went through with the interviews, but he damn sure did not want to be there. He did not like that part of playing in the NFL. The guy just had a different line of thinking. Granted I think Ricky is a much smarter individual then Nick. But both have different ways of looking at things and have obvious cases of extreme social anxiety.
