| I think both Anderson Silva and GSP should move up at the same time.
Anderson Silva vs Maurico Rua for next LHW title shot after Rashad Evans GSP vs Sonnen/Stann winner for the vacant MW title Fitch vs Penn/Condit winner for the vacant WW title |

| Let's just make it a new rule. If you win 5 straight matches in the UFC you have to move up in weight. You must continue that cycle until you lose, then we can call you overrated. | |

Like I said, when the challenges become too easy the best will look to challenge themselves. They always have and always will I think GSP feels plenty challenged at WW. Thankfully he is a smart man with smart people around him. He won't do anything stupid. Yeah he does a great job at pretending like people he's fighting actually pose some kind of threat to him. Agreed The dude has won like 30 fucking rounds in a row at this point. He isn't challenged at all in any capacity

The dude has won like 30 fucking rounds in a row at this point. He isn't challenged at all in any capacity 30 rounds in a row until the Jake fight right? Because if I remember right he lost 2 rounds on 2 judges score cards that night. If by pretending his opponents doesn't pose a threat you mean GSP refuses to take any risk or any real attempt to put fighters away I agree. But if GSP is fighting extremely cautious vs these guys do you really want to see how he looks vs larger men who pose bigger threats? What tickels me most about the GSP should move up discussion is you guys want it for the entertainment value, no other reason, but GSP moving up in weight would not give any boost in entertainment, it would actually be the reverse effect. It's just a bad idea all around, but out of bordem you guys somehow think it's a good idea.

It's just a bad idea all around, but out of bordem you guys somehow think it's a good idea. Jake didn't deserve a round in the fight. At best he "fought" to two 10-10 rounds against a guy with one eye that wasn't doing anything. Even while missing have his vision, or dealing with pulled groins he's still clowning everyone at 170 I want to see him move up to be pushed obviously. Just like pretty much every great boxer of my lifetime and a lot of great MMA fighters, you challenge yourself. Get in the ring with someone who's going to push you, don't be afraid that you might lose. Its part of the sport

| MMA is not boxing, weight classes are much further apart. That is just the one major difference there, there are more. I can't help but literally laugh out loud when I read your last line. - Quote :

That is GSP's style! He fights not to lose. You are barking up the wrong tree buddy, you will not get your desired result here. I don't even understand how you can have those expectations. You aren't watching.

| This is just pointless. I completely disagree with everything you think on this subject. I don't agree with how you think GSP is currently performing. I don't agree with your assessment of the Jake fight or the scoring. I don't agree with your logic for wanting GSP to move up in weight. I find it all to be completely wrong. | |

| Rua vs Spider for me. I would like to see Brock beat up Reem also, but I don't see that fight being as exciting as Shogun vs Spider. Either Reem ko's Brock quick or we see Brock get a TD and fight like he did against Heath. | |

Rua will not stand back and let Anderson pick him apart. He will charge at Anderson and keep attacking him. When was the last time Anderson faced someone like that? |

And even if they were scored for him, who cares. It was the equivalent of Maia-Anderson. Those rounds meant nothing and the fighters didn't even belong in the same cage
