Best card of the year on paper IMO

I almost criticized Russow for being on the maincard but his resume is pretty good. I also just checked his wikipedia page and saw ;

I just wish Herman was in there with a sexier name. Take that however you want it.

Why is Guillard wasting his time with lauzon?

Who else is he supposed to fight?

That KO is horrifying. I am an avid fan and poser MMA writer yet shit like that makes me question if this sport should be legal for a half second. Who is that?

Edson Barboza vs Jose Figueroa I think. I'm sure it's Edson just not sure if it's Figueroa.

Guida, Siver or Pettis.

Pettis is already fighting, he already KO'd Siver brutally and him and Guida aren't fighting unless its for the belt

Guillard vs Pettis makes even less sense than Guillard vs Lauzon. He already fought Siver, albeit three years ago, and won pretty decisively.

Siver is scheduled for a fight as well at 137

Plus Guillard has not really beaten anybody that would put him soooooo above a fight with Schmo Lauzon.

The reason he is fighting Joe is because he knows Joe is a dangerous young fighter that can still test his skills and make for a great fight, and because it was important to him to fight on this card. Joe was the best available opponent. Everyone at LW is tough. Joe Lauzon is very tough. This is a great fight.

Awesome event

once again i'll mention this, melvin is fighting joe cus he wants to fight guys he knows he can win againts. Earlier this year kenny called him out but mel said know cus he only wanted to fight guys who wer title contenders or title eliminators. Well kenny at the time was coming off a title elimination match yet mel said no to him, kenny dropped weight and mel fought roller. Now he wants joe. Joe has a good chance at giving mel a good fight but in the end will gass. Mel is the daley of the lw division pretty much however inlike daley wont take risk

This isn't really true. This card was important to him. Joe is a good fighter who could end up winning easier than you think. Melvin has fought tough guys.

not saying joe isnt good but he is not at the level of most upper teir guys. Also melvin has fought good guys but nothing for me to think of him as an elite lw

Guillard beat Siver decisively, there was no lay offs or knee surgeries clouding the victory.

There was nothing clouding Forrest's first victory. You get in the cage no excuses.
