I really like both these guys, I hope it's a great fight that makes them both look good no matter who wins

Not a huge fan of Ward's style but he's a nice guy. Although he could tone down the whole love for Jesus just a bit.

I got no problem with loving Jesus! I love him too but I see what your saying, once everyone knows your down with Jesus you don't have to keep reminding people lol like your trying to convince yourself as much as others

Yeah I have no problem with Christians but when they go overboard and praise him every 2 minutes it can get a bit tedious.

“It’s great to see so many people come out for this, ” he said at the event that started at noon. “I hope everyone’s out here on their lunch breaks and have jobs to go back to.”

This should be a very good fight.

i think this will be one for the purist,

i can see this being an ugly but fascinating fight but i can also see the referee being a major factor. will the ref call it straight down the middle or will one fighter work his way onto the refs favourable side?

Yeah I see it being ugly too, once Ward gets in close alot of fouling when appear from both fighters. The ref will be extremely vital on the night.

I lean towards Ward by close decision but I think Froch will surprise alot of people with how competitive he makes it.

He will suprise me then because I think Ward out boxes him enroute to a semi-close but clear cut decision.

CARL FROCH is demanding stringent drug testing ahead of his clash with Andre Ward.

That’s after learning about his rival’s links with shamed Victor Conte.

The Nottingham boxer, 34, faces Ward to decide the world’s best super-middleweight in Atlantic City on October 29 – but was concerned when told about the American’s association with Conte.

Conte is a convicted steroid dealer, who provided Briton Dwain Chambers with illegal, performance-enhancing drugs – which led to the 100m sprinter being banned from competing at the Olympics.

And Froch said: “I’m not happy about Ward and Conte.

“There have been stories about American boxers taking steroids, so you do wonder if people are taking things to give them the edge.

“I will be raising the question with my promoter Eddie Hearn and he will probably do something about it, whether it’s a pre-fight drug test or blood test.”

Unbeaten WBA champion Ward – America’s last Olympic gold medallist – claims he no longer works with Conte and insists has never taken any performance-enhancing drugs.

But Conte provided Ward (below) with nutritional supplements before his fight with Mikkel Kessler in the Super Six tournament two years ago.

Conte ended up in jail when he developed a banned steroid and supplied it to top athletes such as Chambers and five-time Olympic gold medallist Marion Jones. He was caught in 2003 and sentenced to four months in prison.

The controversial American sports expert has since helped catch drugs cheats and provides legal supplements as well as advice to athletes.

Ward, 27, is not ashamed about working with Conte and insists there is no problem. He said: “Victor’s very knowledgeable. I would talk to him about supplements, he’s on the right track.”
