I think it would be like the bigfoot fight. So Fedor wins round one, gets handled in round 2 and the doctor stops the fight due to injury?

| Frank Mir
Tito Ortiz Brutally
Werdum rematch
Rampage - Never would have thought this would be a tough pick.
Kongo
Anderson Silva - If it stay standing Anderson, ground Fedor.
Josh Barnett - Fedor could still easily drop Josh on the feet, would love to see it....still.
Shane Carwin - Fedor is such a better figher, but I just think he gets outmuscled, he'd probably break his hand on Carwin's skull, if he doesn't win with that shot I just don't know....

| Frank Mir- Yes, but Frank could land and win in a shootout i suppose.
Tito Ortiz- Fedor all the way
Werdum rematch- Fedor all the way
Rampage- Fedor, though it could end identical to the Hendo fight..but i think Fedor could beat Hendo as well.
Kongo - Fedor..and it's not even close.
Anderson Silva- Fedor...too strong. Fedor would look to take him down and i don't think Anderson could stuff it. Though if Fedor came with his current approach, i'd lean Spider. This one does not really fit here though. Anderson will never fight at HW and Fedor will never fight at LHW IMO.
Josh Barnett beats Fedor. I was actually prepping to pick Josh at Affliction:Trilogy. I just don't like the matchup for Fedor. If they met in a Strikeforce or UFC cage...Josh beats him unless caught early in any round. Josh has the strength, wrestling, the best submissions and all around ground game for any wrestler at HW, i believe he probably has the most dominant mount in MMA as he's almost never knocked off like so many are, he has damaging ground and pound. Especially after the Bigfoot fight..i just don't think it works out. Josh is going to win the SF tourny(even if Ubereem remained) and he'll be the most successful PRIDE HW in the United States barring any drug test shenanigans or simply not getting enough fights.. This may be for another thread.
Shane Carwin loses to Fedor. Carwin's tank is just troublesome but he can beatr Fedor in Fedor's current rock em sock em mode. That one is actually a toughter call because Carwin is a one punch guy and is much better than Grim who was able to land on Fedor.

| Frank Mir = Mir could possibly mug Fedor on the cage to gain a decision.
Tito Ortiz = Ortiz just doesn't posses the power or strength to threaten him IMO.
Werdum rematch = Werdum wins again, he wasn't buzzed at all in the first fight.
Rampage = All out war, Fedor makes Page curl into a ball like his Pride days.
Kongo = Kongo might actually stop Fedor.
Anderson Silva = Silva's speed and JJ give this Fedor nightmares.
Shane Carwin = Too big too strong. |

Fedor has been extremely sloppy on his feet recently, it would only take one of Kongo's bombs to make him do the stanky leg. This is the 2010/11 Fedor I am talking about. |

This is the 2010/11 Fedor I am talking about. let's not forget that Kongo got dropped twice by Barry, one of Fedors punches would put him down and out

| I tend to think Fedor will have trouble with any of the bigger heavies, including Mir and Brock. Not that I would pick against him per se, but they could be very tough fights.
I also see Spider as a bad matchup. I would pick Silva here.
I picked Fedor vs Hendo in the first go, would prob go the other way in a 2nd matchup.
but I just don't see now as a good time to have a hypothetical pickem run down with Fedor. Not only is he on a 3 fight losing streak, with his stock being way down, but the questions of his mindset and his training camp do not invoke confidence.
Unless he really dedicates himself to getting inline with Modern MMA(and that prob means not fighting the huge heavies) I think i'd just prefer he retires.

Thankfully the majority of the board seem to have a grip on it.

For whatever Mir is, it cannot be said that his game has not evolved. Fedor's? It's a near consensus right now is that his game has devolved into wild carelessness, has one foot in retirement, and his corner is nothing more then a coupe towel boys. Plus Mir now owns a big size adv. I need to see Fedor recommit himself and find his footing against some non-top 15 guys b4 I feel confident in picking him again.
