Overeem wants HW boxer Vitali Klitschko ?

Werdum actually came forward, forced Overeem backwards and landed 3 punch combinations when ever he decided to actually fight instead of just flopping

Not saying Werdum won the fight because he didnt, but he did out strike Overeem and make Overeem look amateurish in the stand up at times. no lie he had that same deer in the head ligh look that Brock gets when he gets punched

Part of that was due to not respecting Werdum's power at all and totally trying to avoid the takedown

agreed but if Overeem is letting a fighter like Werdum back him up, and land 3 punch combinatins, what do you think Vitali will do, thats all Im saying

ur right bird,overeem has always had good stand up but one of the reasons werdum was backing him up was because his chin has failed him numerous times in the past. vitali and wlad would definitely crack his skull. its not the first time overeem has made silly comments. before asking to fight the best in boxing he should try to fight the 2 best in mma and hope he doesnt get put to sleep

The HW division in boxing is completely dead at the moment, I would welcome this novelty fight with open arms.

Why are all the MMA fighters thinking they can fight professional boxers, you can't, just like a boxer couldn't fight you in an MMA, and certainly not an elite Champion like one of the Klitschkos. I know it wouldn't make big news if he called out a less elite fighter, but go that route first before you call out the Champ at his own game.

I think a K-1 fight would be the fairest fight between the 2. Overeem would win that though.

that Pancrase dude is Rushi Yanagisawa, 24-25-9 wins over Taktarov, Semmy Schilt, Jason Delucia and Vernon White, multiple losses to Bas Rutten, Guy Mezger, Frank Shamrock, Masakatsu Funaki, Evan Tanner, Drawed Yuki Kondo, lost to Randy Couture and Fedor. Dude was a bad ass
