BJ Penn vs Carlos Condit targeted for fall event

This is the fight I want to see.

Another way to say that is "The end of Carlos Condit's impressive run is targeted for a fall event"

I like Condit in this fight. I think they're evenly matched on the feet, but if BJ wants it down then Condit could be in trouble.

Put it on a free card as the main event so BJ can fade down the stretch when the NBK comes on strong

I thought Shields was going to fight Ellenberger? I remember a Jake vs Jake thread.

I'm pumped for this fight. Should be a very good one I think they matchup very well. Right now I'm leaning toward Condit.

CC has looked great as of late, but I am still going with BJ Penn.

forgot about Jake. That thread was way too long ago for me to remember about.

So you don't like Condit's chances in this fight? I think it is a good style matchup. I think both will be happy to stand, atleast for awhile.

Condit has a great chance in either. I would have an easier time picking him to defeat Jake though.

IMO he earned it. If he was on Dana's good side he would have had 3 title shots by now.

The UFC is not letting that fight happen, not Penn.

Yeah I agree with that. Fitch shouldn't say shit to BJ because it's not on him. I think BJ obviously tried for the rematch but the UFC wasn't having it...thankfully.
