Prime Tito Ortiz vs Current Rashad Evans (who you got)

A lot of arguments lately about how good Ortiz is/was so I thought it would be cool to see everyone's opinion on how a Prime Ortiz would have done in today's LHW division.

I know they have fought before and it was a draw but that fight happened when Ortiz was a bit past his best and Rashad was still improving. If they fought with their Prime versions who wins?

Tito did great againt submission specialists and guys that wanted to stand and trade, it was the guys that could sprawl his shot (Liddell and Couture)that and guys that made him work for everything he did (F. Shamrock) that beat him at his prime.

I think Rashad probably knocks Tito out with a head kick

It wouldn't be easy. It would be a 29-28 fight in my opinion.

this is a tough one for me i honestly dont know who to take like i said a "PRIME" tito would take on just about any one in the LHW division but this is one of those fights to me that would go either way

Prime Tito vs prime Rashad would be a five rounder and Rashad is known to gas and has a weak chin while Tito has a legendary one. Rashad has great take downs but mediocre control. Rashad couldn't keep him down. Tito would tire him out and tko late third early fourth. No longer will Tito bashing by people who never saw him fight pre Liddell go unchecked. Tito is an all time great. Rashad is not.

Evan Tanner and Elvis Sinosic werent exactly world beaters when Tito beat them, same with Wandy or the Janitor.

Tito's chin helps him capitalize when Shad begins to gas.

imo tito was barely existing his prime when he fought rashad and beat him. thats right , the point deduction was bs. now the shad of today vs a prime tito would be an interesting fight but i say tito by dec in a 5 round fight.

I think Tito in his prime is too much for Rashad. I think people forget sometimes that tito had some of the sickest GNP the sport had seen when he was in his prime. I think he would take Rashad down and beat him up pretty good on his way to a UD.
