He's really playing well right now, only caught a couple highlights just now, but what I saw he's really hot and swinging well. Hope he can keep it up though, he's had some collapses in his career, one bad one recently at the Masters I believe.

And yeah Golf takes a huge hit without el Tigre.

He's -13 right now and to put it into perspective no one has ever been -13 in a US Open at any point...ever. Still two days to go too

With only 13 guys below par, the course is not playing easy. Rory is just in a record breaking zone so far this weekend. The Cut is going to be like +8 or +9.

Well he was -11 when I posted that and his rd was finished, he got up to -13 I believe before dropping some shots, but still playing great either way. The US Open record to par is -12 by Tiger, so he actually has 2 days to shoot 2 under and set the record. I'd say the odds certainly favor him, but he has had some very poor finishing rds before which can't be discounted, and the course will only get tougher over the weekend, but still good moneys on him. YE Yang who is a very solid steady player is at -5, he could make a play at the tourney still.

GDP I didn't see that at the time so good point. I don't believe the cut was that high but there were definitely some brutal holes and as a whole it does seem to play tough. I was talking out of my ass apparently but you'll have that!

Great finish for Rory, good to see him bounce back so strongly from the Masters. He was steady all week, all rds is the 60's.

Even thugh he set the record to par, still got Tigers US Open as the best ever, he shot -12, next closest guy was +3.
