Some people may be hating on Jones too much capt, the guy is not a bad guy...but you are probably getting on the defensive for him too much if you are taking that post to heart ..especially considering some of the reactions to Jon Jones quotes in regards to Evans by people who thought he was playing with Rashad.
My only problem with Jon Jones is the Evans thing. It's completely reasonable why i or anybody would think Jones was in the wrong there. Anything bad i have to say about Jon Jones is exclusive to the beef with Evans. There is no bias because if anybody paid any attention..i've hated Rashad since forever and i liked Jon Jones more until all that shit. I don't give a fuck if Jon Jones signs replica belts..i don't give a fuck if Jon Jones is a grumpy asshole that refuses to sign any autographs period and sprays a hose at kids passing by his home..i'm just against him in the Rashad saga and it has not left that realm.
Hell, i went out of my way to call bullshit on BE's fighter of the half year award to say Jones is the fighter of the year...i'm not shitting on the guy and as i mentioned, the post you got bent up about was a reaction to a couple Jon Jones quotes that preceeded the announcement of this fight where some guys here were talking some bullshit.

My main point: Bones hate has gone bizzaro.
If Jone's brother gets a holding penalty called against him, Bone's get's heat.
His utter dominance has taken a back seat to his supposed douchieness.

If he acts like a douche If he sounds like a douche Then he is a douche
Jones has put all this heat on himself.

I'd still root for Jones, I have never liked Rashad. Even if I disliked them both equally, Jones is the more entertaining fighter to watch.

http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/9/16/2429307/quinton-rampage-jackson-ive-never-been-in-this-kind-of-shape-before Yahoo Sports has put out the second edition of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's blog that is being written in the leadup to his UFC 135 light heavyweight title fight with champion Jon Jones. In this one, he discusses how well his camp has gone, Jones' "bambi legs" and his unpredictability, and how he is a kid. It's a pretty entertaining read overall, and here are some of the best sections:
I can’t believe the shape I am in for this fight with Jon Jones next week here in Denver for the UFC 135 main event and light heavyweight title! I’m weighing 221 lbs right now, nine days out. I’ve never been in this kind of shape before. I like it! It feels good not to be like, "Oh, man! Weight cut is next week!" The cut to 205 lbs is going to be easy.
Jones was 219 in the picture he posted on twitter a couple of days ago, so it doesn't look like either is going to have an issue making weight. Rampage then switches it up and talks a little Bones:
But Jon Jones is in the big leagues now, and he’s not ready. He needed this fight in another couple of years’ time. Jon Jones does unpredictable things but, really, we’ve seen it now bro, so it is not unpredictable any more. We’ve seen the spinning elbow four or five times, Jon "Bones" Jones. We’ve all seen it. Maybe Jon Jones is going to get me with some knees – I expect that, it is a fight – but I am gonna get him with my hands, too. You look at those Bambi legs and wonder what happens when I hit him.
...
I know he’s got some great skills and honestly I am impressed how fast he’s learned – he is the future of the division in my opinion, but I am the present. Rampage is the present of the UFC light heavyweight division.
