The Legendary Nights by HBO was great, but man this episode was emmy worthy, loved it

I seen it and to this day Taylor was screwed out of the biggest win of his career.

ya man, one of the biggest disagreements Ive had/have with marble was he said Steele probably saved Meldricks life and Chavez could have killed him in those 2 seconds.

side note - Steele also did a shitty job in not totally seeing that Chavez had failed to go to stay in the neutral corner, instead he had crept around the side and gotten within about 8 feet of Taylor.Look where he is when Steele waves it off, in the center of the ring, Steele was too busy trying to stop the fight IMO.
First off, Taylor got up. You stop, unless your going to give them a mandatory 8. Then when he says, are you ok twice, he instantly stops after saying it the second time. Doesnt even give him a chance to respond. Just says, "are you ok" then waves it off. Pure bullshit

Yeah Meldrick was never the same after that night so he could have at least got the win that he deserved and fought his life out for.

ya dude its really sad, seeing him watch the end of that fight is pretty sad, I think the WBC, IBF, WBA, etc. should all be forced to form a union with medical benefits, if your their champion they have to cover you for life.
