Serious? I'm less inclined to buy that game today. Call of Duty 4.4.

Dead serious, looks like endless hours of fun.
My only complaint would be the engine is starting to show it's age a bit.
If it ain't broke don't fix it, the formula works.

The 2007 formula has been fading hard since 2009.
Looks like even more of the same.
As far as the same goes, loved it in 2007, liked in 2008, was okay in 2009, no thank you in 2010, no chance in 2011.
The new stuff is copied from other games that decided to go the route of innovation.
Dogtags? Check BF 8 years ago. Retrieval, Crysis 2. Class loadouts, see almost all fps games the past 4 or 5 years.
Hey at least baby monitors are back, and juggernaut? really, who needs dogs to do your killing for you when you can have a big armored bot walking around the map.
It looks and sounds identical. The model animations the explosions, the sounds, this is a 2007 game.
I think the last clip summed it up in two players running at each in the middle of a battlefield as snipers seeing who can pull off the quick scope first. Yuck.

When franchises continue to sell billions of dollars the formula is never going to change much.
Halo, COD, Gears, Battlefield.
C.O.D doesn't need much changed, perhaps just some tweaks here and there.

I'm really not very excited about this COD. Might not even pick it up.
It looks like MW2.
Exactly what I was thinking. I lost interest in COD over time. But even though I'm only a fraction as skilled in MOH as I am in COD, I still started to enjoy that game better and I think BF3 is going to be on point. My Gears passion won't be going anywhere anytime soon also.

That could be the very sad truth. A lot of dumb kids will be dying for anything CoD. BF will fuck that up some which is also unfortunate. It's real nice not to hear the bulk of the junk xbox live kids community that typically plagues CoD MP lobbies.

I just don't understand the dislike for COD, I've enjoyed everyone since the 2nd. You don't tamper with a successful formula.
Actually I wasn't that keen on COD 3.

Stagnant. CoD Peeked in 2007 and has been the same ever since, which means it has been on a continual down hill gradient. 2008-11 = 4 $120 CoD4 titles.
