A pretty good article I read today on open scoring. This article is about MMA but all the arguements for and against are pretty much the same for boxing.

Good article. I think open scoring seems like a great idea, but in practice, takes a lot of the thrill of the fight away, from a fan perspective. There are plenty of arguments for and against it, but in my experience, seeing it done a few times in boxing, it kind of took away from the fight. Has anyone else seen it in boxing and liked it?

I don't like it. It doesn't change the judges scoring and that's what the problem is.

You should add a poll to see what people would prefer.

Open scoring is a great idea

if you liked Khalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry

When fighters know they are winning in the 3rd round and the only way they can lose is a knockout, you will see a ton of running.

Every boxing match i have seen with open scoring pretty much sucked
