| Eh tough pick on Hardy vs AJ, if Johnson wasn't coming off that long ass layoff it'd be a no brainer, but man he's been out long. At the same time just never been too big on Hardy and think Rumble can finish him here. | |

| Long layoff is one of my fight pickin rules, but Rumble also has size, power, wrestling advantages and I've never been a Hardy guy really, ugh tough pick.

| Hardy would have blown out Speer and the guys Rumble has faced in similar fashion. Rumbles level of comp in the UFC is significantly lower. Rumble will gas if he tries to wrestle with him for too long or get KTFO'd up on the feet. Wild card is Hardy's chin which suddenly seems a bit frail after a KO by Condit. | |

| Hardy's chin worry's me, and he keeps his head a little bit erect. But agree Rumble hasn't beaten anyone of note, but I'm looking at more of their skills matchups and Rumble seems to have more of the edges. Like Hardy has one thing, kickboxing, and think he mostly boxes but he might throw more kicks then I remember. AJ can strike with Hardy but also has strong wrestling. IDK on this fight, Rumbles layoff is crazy and gasing likely, but Hardy isn't Kos or someone. | |

| Wrestlers tend to have weaker takedowns off layoffs and knee injuries and guys who GSP lay on tend to upgrade their wrestling so if Rumble's takedowns are not that successful I wouldn't be surprised. This cat aint no GSP. | |

| For sure, layoff paired with recovering knees are horrible for fighters, but even if Hardy's worked on his wrestling he's still a Brit. My main fear for not picking Hardy is that he wins this fight standing if he's going to win it (finish or dec), and just worried about AJ's power/reach/speed catching Hardy's chin. Really I should just flip a coin and get on with it, this ain't Anderson vs GSP where I should care who I pick. | |
