| Rua has already beaten Overeem by TKO twice in Pride. If they were to fight now at an openweight fight what would happen? Would Overeem's size difference be the deciding factor or will Rua have the mental and skills edge to win for the 3rd time? |

| I think today Overeems power gives him a decisive advantage to control in the clinch where he would have more options to set up offensive knees and takedowns. Shogun is still the better overall striker and grappler in p4p sense, but Overeems power helps his finishing ability a lot more than before.

| Reem would kick the shit out of him.
Rua may be the more talented fighter and he'd beat 205 Reem any day of the week probably, but things done changed and that boy done grown.
When people talk about how Shogun knocked his ass out, Chuck Liddell knocked his ass out..not one of those guys would want any part of Overeem nowadays if they knew what as good for them for obvious reasons, the past is moot.
I know this sounds like i'm talking up Reem and i'm a nuthugger now...but, thats just how i feel. Reem would not be worth getting excited about if Shogun could still beat him even though Reem is like the Super Shredder now...but i believe Reem is worth getting excited about and he would hurt Shogun pretty badly if they were to fight in some open weight.
