contender Demian Maia at the upcoming UFC 131 pay-per-view event scheduled for the Rogers Arena on June 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I think Munoz KO's him on the feet, doesn't let Maia get him where he wants him on the ground let alone to the ground. If it ends up on the ground it's only because Munoz is about to spill Maia's bucket.

Maia took Sonnen down like it was nothing when they fought, and Munoz's wrestling hasn't seemed to translate well to MMA, could totally see Maia subbing him here.

Maia got 1 judo throw. lol. He isn't throwing Munoz like that.

Think Maia's best shot is if Munoz slips or loses his balance or if he survives getting rocked and dropped with Munoz on top of him. Unlike Sonnen, Munoz can and does KO people. Sonnen is like a roided up Jon Fitch with less sub defense.

LOL one throw on a guy with better wrestling, no one, I mean no one has taken Sonnen down like that. Lets not act like Munoz is some huge striking threat now either, he was losing the striking to CB before he threw one of his head down baseball pitch punches and connected. Mark is gonna throw as hard as he can, might connect, might not, but lets not act like Maia's only chance is Munoz slippin here, come on now.

Maia has better standup than Munoz. I think he will be winning on the feet, and Munoz will be forced to fight for takedowns. That obviously would be trouble. I've got Maia on this one.
